Do you know who your main course tutor is yet?
Usually Easton can help with providing placements or help give you some contacts for you to try.

At least, they did when I was there.

Failing that, get on google and search for local farms/contractors and get sending out letters. It's worth putting some effort in as you never know, may even lead to a job in a couple of years :good:

And stay away from those equine girls. They're trouble :ninja::lol:

I'm one of the training instructors that visit Easton to carry out various short courses there (pesticides etc) so our paths may cross at some point if they haven't done already. I'll keep an ear open on my travels in case I hear of anything that may be of interest to you.

Have you tried posting on the Norfolk related farming pages on Facebook?

it was the dairy girls we had trouble with when i was there in the very early 70's.....easton dog and the marlingford bell...great for local moped totty........

Any young farming girls are trouble haha. Also vet students.... But hey enjoy ya self whilst you're young.

Always makes me laugh we always call the girls names for enjoying them selves yet the guys are studs

Good luck with that one. I'm not actually employed by the college itself, I'm a self employed instructor working for several training groups in the east, one of them actually carries out the short course training for Easton at the college so can't actually comment on what they are like as employers, I can guess but not comment.

what are the short courses like at easton, i was going to push my self through a few of the courses to become more appealing to an employer and top up my skills
