Anyone can allege various types of misconduct by a licence holder which could lead to the revocation of a certificate! Unfortunately even if there is no truth in the allegation, the police will always use the precautionary principal!

There never however seems to be any action taken by the police for someone proven to have made a vindictive or vexatious complaint/allegation!

Abso bloody lutely!!!

 

Been on the end of similar, fortunately there were witnesses (who he thought would side with him) who told the truth.

This sort of thing most often happens in the case of divorce. They know its probably malicious but the police's hands are tied, they have to go along with it. They couldn't do anything else. It is simply a butt covering exercise, expect a visit or go and lodge your firearms now.

Then contact your FEO and tell him what you have heard before he tells you what he has heard.

Why. ? I would think he would have something on you, not just because he decided he did not want to be your referee any more. Something to think about when choosing your referee.
