cartridge94 Posted July 3, 2016 Report Share Posted July 3, 2016 After going from my Baikal O/U to an Ugartechea SxS in three months I decided to keep my Ugartechea and get something a bit more modern,So I nipped along to Norgas Cartridge Company and purchased myself a Mossberg Maverick 88 in 12 Bore from my good buddy Webber, as always top service with loads of advice and a good natter when purchasing a new gun. impala59 Posted July 3, 2016 Report Share Posted July 3, 2016 In my opinion, the manual action makes the pump very much a part of you when shooting, the second bird or clay or steel plate is always a challenge and the reward is much greater when it comes together. eastdevon Posted July 4, 2016 Report Share Posted July 4, 2016 I have the hatsan escort pump, might sound silly but I think it the best gun I ever had!! With a bit of practice ya can reload pump really quick for another shot and there only one barrel to clean!! Recently found out that it will also take 65mm cartridges with no issue.
