casts_by_fly
1" high at 200 should give you point and shoot to 225 or so on a fox. Rick
fortune
Zero'd to 150 with 55 @ 3450. This means that I can shoot from here to 300 with a little lift but it is very rare to shoot at long range because you can't easily identify the target. Generally If I see a potential target out at range I will go black and get closer and call in. I'd say most shots are in the 50>>80pace range. Misses are not acceptable so we try very hard to not educate them.

Savhmr
100 yds. I know the drop to 200. Above that, I dial. More precise. Wind is a big factor on POI by far above 200 yds, something many seem to forget, so this zero to 200, point and shoot doesn't account for windage. 10mph full wind at 200 yds on something like a 69TMK & 2,700fps is 4 inches at 200 yds. Drop is less.

Vince Green
It makes no difference as long as you know your rifle and what the overs and unders are. People are surprised when I tell them that at Bisley (where they shoot out to 1200 yds) you have to zero your rifle in on a 25 yard range. Its the rules and always has been.
