ElvisThePelvis
Seemingly semi autos are very popular and I'm sure that everyone gets as annoyed as I do in trying to find the empty cartridges. Is there any reason why the major manufacturers don't use high viz plastic for cartridge bodies for cartridges for semi autos? Its not as if they are going to be used on driven game days for example. Continental Shooter
I normally uses yellow ones on rape, grass or Red on stubble I probably leave some occasionally coz they hide pretty well under leaves or bushes; but i am sure i get almost all the ones i shoot (and i do waste time searching for them if i got some unaccounted for)
HDAV
I don't think anyone makes a load specifically for a semi, if the industry can't agre to keep 20b yellow and 12 not for safety then there is no hope, white are pretty easy spot unless it's snowed and you could buy white ones and use a hi lighter to make them stand out more. You can get pink ones Edited December 8, 2016 by HDAV
ChrisPCarter
Yes I think it's probably the industry agreement to keep yellow to 20 bore but high viz orange (or pink?!) would be good. I try to stick to red or white cartridges if I can now as there's plenty of choice in those colours in the cartridges i use in the field which are mainly Fiocchi and Eley. For clays I'm not bothered. I find dark green, black and in particular clear ones impossible to find and with a semi you often have no idea where they went when swinging around after a couple of pigeons! Wb123
One of the reasons I love my BPS. It leaves a pile of empties between your feet.
figgy
You could always shoot some paper case carts, that way they will biodegrade if you miss some.

GingerCat
Nice shiny red ones for me. If hide shooting they are normally in an arc and not hard to find.

Walker570
Try finding 410s :-( particularly the green Fiocchis. I do my best but being the only 410 shooter on my syndicate I bet the keeper will embarass me by presenting two or three I have missed. Probably missed with as well :-(

archi
what is the point of having a nice gun and not using it in the rain!

They couldn't have chosen a worse colour for them really but they are the best I've tried. I've heard the Winchester ones are the best but they are crazy money.
