alic
Hi there, I am very keen to try and have a go with one of these. Could anyone recommend a range or dealer in the south (lLondonish) where you think I might get the opportunity?
welshwarrior
West London Shooting School has 5 or 6 demo 725s you can take out, just book a 100 birder and ask to try one.
kingo15
This may be biased view as i have one. DONT BUY ONE THEY ARE A PILE OF ******* W***!!!!!!!! I purchased one in may time this year by august it was the biggest pile of rust i have ever owned Seriously look for another gun. Dont get me wrong its shoots and feels lovely i can put some consistent scores in with it. I shot one at the Charity shoot last year, took out a demo gun having never used one before and shot a 79 with it. Browning customer service is shocking. B725
Had mine scince they first came out and cannot fault it still rust free and it's been soaked a few times
grrclark
I just sold mine and it was also trouble and rust free. I sold it because I bought another gun that suits me better, but it is a perfectly good gun.
Bass301gmh
I've had one for over a year and the only issue I've had is with the trigger sticking. Had it sent back to Browning and had it back in just of a week sorted.

kingo15
I have some where. My b525 is perfect and that's been out in all sorts of conditions and has shot probably in excess of 10k through it.
itchy trigger
I have the black edition 32" sporter, cannot fault it, no rust, it is going up for sale, but only as I want to upgrade and buy a 725 grade 5, just missed the one for sale on here by a day, *******r
BrowningB525
It'd interesting. A friend had a 525 that rusted badly. Mine has only showed some rust around the ejectors when I was really not looking after it. Since then I just give it a quick spritz and wipe with wd40 before it goes away end it's not rusted since. My friend suspected his leather slip was trapping moisture. Edited February 3, 2017 by BrowningB525
kingo15
As per my pervious thread back in September. The gun was cleaned after every use There are 2 other guns in the cabinet The gun never got wet When this was brought up on Facebook browning owners page there are several owners that had this issue. Also there are owners like here that have had no issues. As I stated in my first post this was a biased post after my bad experience
BerettaSV10
My friend and myself have a 725 his has been hit by rust in three places, the rib, in the choke threads and the works inside the action, mine has been ok so far. He treats stores the 725 the same way as his other guns and the 725 is the only one that's attracted rust.
poorpeet
Well I've had mine since they were launched and I've had zero issues.
HardFocus
I have had no rust issues with mine and it is a fantastic gun for the money. Browning have just brought out a whole new range of 725s including the new Pro Sporter. Not sure why some of them have rust issues but as I say I have never had any issues with the gun at all.
