This may be biased view as i have one.

DONT BUY ONE THEY ARE A PILE OF ******* W***!!!!!!!!

I purchased one in may time this year by august it was the biggest pile of rust i have ever owned

Seriously look for another gun.

Dont get me wrong its shoots and feels lovely i can put some consistent scores in with it.

I shot one at the Charity shoot last year, took out a demo gun having never used one before and shot a 79 with it.

Browning customer service is shocking.

It'd interesting. A friend had a 525 that rusted badly. Mine has only showed some rust around the ejectors when I was really not looking after it.

Since then I just give it a quick spritz and wipe with wd40 before it goes away end it's not rusted since.

My friend suspected his leather slip was trapping moisture.

As per my pervious thread back in September.

The gun was cleaned after every use

There are 2 other guns in the cabinet

The gun never got wet

When this was brought up on Facebook browning owners page there are several owners that had this issue. Also there are owners like here that have had no issues.

As I stated in my first post this was a biased post after my bad experience
