Medic1281
Yeah, seems to work well onto clover. Never had a massive bag but not got big numbers around here anyway.
dead eye alan
Every year around March time I shoot clover and manure heaps, had good sport most years its just right place right time.
Walker570
Been a while now, but if you watch pigeons on clover they seem for some reason to be moving/pecking more, so if you can provide that, movement eg pecking then I think it might help. The few times I have shot over clover with success I used home made 'silosocks' which fluttered in the wind. Have personally never seen hordes on clover but always worth a go. Agreed, I usually have a couple of decent bags around spring time on sheep pastures. Birds usually decoy very well as the decoy birds stand out like sore thumbs. JDog
What are you waiting for? Get out and shoot them. Your rotary may not be necessary.
Penelope
Archie Coats shot his record bag over the S101 Aberystwyth clover variety.
kippylawkid
Been out spotting at lunch time today and coincidentally found a very good line into a field of clover. Intending to shoot tomorrow but i don't like the look of the forecast. 20-25 mph NE winds off the sea with constant sleet showers is not my idea of fun. Will venture out and see what the day brings
pigeon controller
One of my favourite crops to shoot.
nel67
i look forward to clover every year, biggest bag was 89 but half of them were shot from a flightline my usual bag is between 20 and 40 ,as jdog says you dont need the rotary,i put out around 15 decoys,a flapper or two and a couple of full bodies on fence posts which works well. aga man
I have also had some decent success on clover on a local dairy farm. As above Easter time usually here. Pigeons seem to love clover here and will feed on readily througout the year.
