Thats coming on well - I've just treated my self to something similar. My tip is - These log cabins shrink and expand considerably with the weather, don't forget to leave a little room, for movement between each of your roof and floor boards.

This is my space, 6m x 4.5m x 44mm timbers.

Davie, hopefully the link above will take you to some pictures in Zapps home brewing thread in the food and drink section. I don't want to hijack this thread but it's a 100 litre real ale (all grain) setup I built a few years ago. I moved house a couple of years back and it's been in storage so I'm keen to get the new man cave built so I can start brewing again. The shed will be lined an insulated at one end for a smal office then the rest will be brewery and general retreat from domestic bliss.

**** them D's and E's.... loath those panels, spent a lot of today hammering home D's and E's.

Is yours an Argyll? I have an Argyll man cave 👍

And I wouldn't bother fitting the drip sill above the doors..... no water ever gonna hit them.

  • 1 year later...

Resurrecting an old thread.   I've had my workshop stored flat pack for ages whilst we sorted some planning (live in a national park) and some other life getting in the way issues out.  I fianally got the base down and my mate came round to help with the construction yesterday.  A third has been earmarked for office space, the rest will house  my real ale brewery, man fridges/freezers and General fettling stuff.  It's not quite finished yet but here's the Wet Spaniel Brewery ?

It's going to be felt for now Ditch, that's what came with it and the funds are stretched at the moment, I would've liked shingles but couldn't justify it.
