STAINLESS STEEL SINK STAIN CLEANER ? TRIED THE USUAL ?????

Nip into B&Q and buy a tub of caustic soda granules, fill the sink with water, pour in a load of lye 100mg of granules to 5l of water, stir it well and let it sit for 20 mins. After you empty the sink use a plastic scourer to give it a good clean using your regular cleaning product.

 

Or use an oven cleaner spray.

hello, i have tried to find the bar keepers in a few places to no avail so i shall try the vinegar and bicarb, i did once mossy neary choked with the fumes :rolleyes:

hello, i found some barkeeper in powder form in B @ Q so gave it a try on my SS sink and very please with the result, will try on my sons in week, oh i did mix some powder with vinegar for around plug hole :good: cheers for all help

astonish paste. you will wonder what you ever did without it. amazing stuff.

Thats what we use..... well after the other half used the scrubbing side of a washing up sponge on the 2 week old oven top! and then a quick wipe over with olive oil every now and again if its got streaks on it

I did that with the scrubbing side on the cooker hood. Made a right mess of it due to the scratches and a new one is on order just to shut her up :no:
