beretta
In the market for a new flask now the weather is turning. Any recomendations for one that actually does keep the brew warm for a decent time and not just an hour.

I have a few 'cheapo' steel flasks and they all stay warm for up to 8 hours or so. I do heat the flask with boiling water for about an hour before using it though. When the flask is unable to keep the contents hot, I bin it. It is usually a breakdown in the insulation. Bluebarrels
Buy a Thermos all metal design from somewhere like the Range,it keeps the water hot for ages. One thing I've learnt about flasks is to fill only with water, and take brew making kit with you! This way the brews always taste good ,and the flask never smells I buy the Cadburys hot choc cups (large) from the pound shop and you get 3 the same size as Costa cups. Westley
I use steredent tablets, left in overnight to clean the flask after soup or coffee contents. I tablet, fill with boiling water, then leave overnight. Empty, rinse and drain, then store with the stopper off. None of my flasks are tainted. Dougy
Stanley flasks used to have a brilliant after sales service. They once replaced an old flask with a brand new one because the stopper was no longer available. I have a 1.5 ltr flask that's faultless.
