ilovemyheckler
Anyone use CENS hearing protection and have problem with battery life? My new ones (CENS Proflex) seem to need at least one and sometimes both new batteries each time I use them. Should I be removing the batteries each time after I have used and then putting them back in next time? Thanks
welshwarrior
They are air batteries so will last about a week once the tab is removed even if not used.

That was also my understanding - which is why I opted for passives (actually by EMT, though I expect SENS are equally good.

I'm doing well with mine then ... usually get at least a month out of them (they are the bigger size).

albifrons
I change mine about 3 times a shooting season, and completely remove them during the closed season. are you switching them off after each shooting trip?
Mungler
The cens mino in ear one you can’t switch off. I just put new batteries in each time I use them - they’re pennies off eBay (the air activated hearing aid ones). Saying that, last month I did 4 full day’s Shooting (one day after the other) and I think I did that on 2 batteries.

alastair0903
I always take the batteries out, they once went through the wash in my trousers! If the batteries had been in I think there would have been some damage, however I just dented them out and they still work perfectly. Batteries are cheap enough
