Stonepark
Fine to 35 yards in energy and pattern and suitable for close range decoying but really need 28g euro 7.5 (2.4mm) to get to 45 yards. Ultrastu
I use 19 in my .410 and they fold pige out to 30 yds nicely .35 yds is a bit too far So going by that 21 grm should be ok up to about 35 yds
washerboy
Used them once when I took the wrong cartridge box holder, it was for a quick walk about and an hour at roosting in a wood. I just didn't shoot them at long range but still had a good evening and felt better then I would have using my usual gamebore loads.
Robertt
Using UK 7's, 21g has similar pellet count to 34g 5's. So, using an appropriate amount of choke I can only guess at how far they will cleanly drop pigeons. I use them for clays and choked up they break clays at silly distances but as we know clays are different.
lancer425
A couple of years ago i used 250 RC romagnola 21 gram fibres Green case think they were 8s .In my full choked gun i was still killing pigeons to35 to 40 yard consistently, but would suggest 7 1/2 if you can get any, Pellet count is ok, but the 8s, but it was at the back of my mind they were a bit light on ft lbs, so you need to watch your range they will be ok. I only bought the one flat, i got the Jocker Las which were a bit cheaper so never bought anymore of those RCs. .
spurs 14
I used 24g in the past and found that they weren’t killing cleanly , before I get the usual arguments yes it may have been my shooting ! I switched to 30s and they were dropping cleanly so have stuck with them ever since odd time have used 32g think they are both 6s

They were Trust cartridges. He did very well with them, killing over 180. Many would disagree, but I think a 21gm 8 or 9 would be a pretty good pigeon load over decoys. In the summer I was getting extremely good kills at around 40 yards with 28gm Jocker 9s.

Stonepark
Unless using heavier chokes at least 1/4 above your normal expectations, I would look carefully at the Jockers as due to their use of reclaimed shot, reportedly they pattern quite a bit more open than cartridges with new pellets. https://www.clay-shooting.com/features/cartridge-test-budget-jockers/

They all worked very well. I consider them good value.
the hitman
Jocker 7.5 28g are a good decoying load as are Trust 7.5 28g. I recently bought 1000 trust 30g no6 which I suppose will be a UK 5.5 for pheasants and I am really pleased with them. I paid £215 for 1000 .
