islandgun
Well looking at the prices these old T Wild's are fetching, I might as well forget putting Bismuth through it mine, [bottom picture 3" chamber.] steel it is then..😉

DUNKS
I think T Wild died in 1897 The gun would have been made by Watson who kept the Wild name on. I have one of their hammerguns. Super bits of kit,
bruno22rf
Correct DUNKS - company traded under several names over the years. Collected this gun this very morning - really nice chap who tells me he bought it from a collector, it's in superb condition and has obviously been restored by someone that knows what they are doing - tight as a tight thing under water, blueing virtually as new and the woodwork is all but "as new" - cannot wait to get out and point it at a few Pigeons before she goes into semi retirement with my other English SxS's. Nice to see that despite the doom and gloom these guns are still going to good homes to be used 👍
bavarianbrit
I picked up an Edwinson Green damascus with nitro proof for £250 20 years ago from a Maidstone solicitor, he had used it duck shooting on the Ganges river in India before partition shoots lovely.
