lord_seagrave
Hi chaps, does anyone deal with wasps’ nests in Milton Keynes, or know of someone that does? One of my gardening clients in Downhead Park has got a nest in the roof of their porch. LS
WalkedUp
I’ve always just done them myself. Either wasp foam or hose pipe. I’ve done one small one and two big ones in the last 18months. The biggest one was in the loft when I bought this house, the builders wouldn’t touch it so at night I put a bin bag over it, pulled the draw strings tight around and then filled the bin ban with insecticide. Sealed the bag and the next day went back and scooped it up and burnt it. It was late October so the wasps were quite dopey anyway. Probably best to contact your local council’s environmental health team in all honesty.
Modafinale
Try ant powder, just a little near the entrance,. usually nest is dead the next day
Dave at kelton
I have always done my own too. Buy the Rentokil foam from a good diy or garden centre and spray at night when they are in the nest and sleeping. Did one a month ago in the loft of my porch, easy. bruno22rf
Easy enough to do yourself but if you need a decent pest guy then Hunter Pest Services in Buckingham are very good - 07976802326.

They don't fly at night either.
