Walker570
Good day on the partridges at Wappenshall today. 119 in the bag and should have been more if I had not shot like an idiot, admit pathetic performance. Thats it until first week in December then . Fingers will be raw from twiddling.

Glad you had a good day Walker , if the weather was the same down this way then it was a lovely day to be out in the fresh air and maybe a little bit to bright if you were shooting towards the sun . Like the ole saying at the end of a shooting day , another one they can't take away from us
grahamch
I see we can still go fowling - but what is a reasonable distance to travel? My nearest fowling is at Lindisfarne 45 mins up the road - would this be reasonable? It is to me as its the nearest place I can pursue my chosen exercise. I should think the nearest place or your nearest Fowling club would be acceptable maybe a shooting organisation could clarify the situation

HPR-Munster
Advice required... I’m hoping to go rough shooting (on my own) tomorrow on ground that I have permission (paid syndicate) to shoot on. I have reviewed the BASC guidance which was issued on 3rd November which states rough shooting can continue. Can anyone provide some clarification in terms of whether I can shoot game while out rough shooting, mainly pheasant and partridge? Ive contacted BASC, but no response as yet. Thanks
Scully
If there is game on your rough shoot then you can shoot it; guidance isn’t species specific.

ShootingEgg
We are in the game season, you can go rough shooting, so you are nkt breaking any law by shooting pheasant and partridge when rough shooting. Just go out and enjoy it. You're lucky you can do. I have a few permissions that joe oublic have flooded for their walks so its just to risky for me to go out.
