Sussexboy
Just had an awesome Sunday roast with some rolled beef rib. The star of the show though was pudding in the form of a pear and blackberry crumble. I racked off the blackberry gin yesterday and we used the gin soaked blackberries to make the crumble. I can recommend it!

I can recommend it! We do this most years. The damsons from damson gin work well too.
shooterman49
When we rack off the fruit from each year's tipple the wife uses it to make the mincemeat for the Xmas mince pies. Fantastic!

Walker570
With an absolute glut of apples this year we have been eating two or three crumbles a week. That combination sounds awesome.

yates
The pear crumble combo sounds great. We had a massive glut of pears this year. SWMBO has been preserving them in port and freezing
figgy
I love pears and brambles but find the brambles over power the pears. Bet the alcoholic brambles were lush.
