Can't believe how much fuss the BBC News and to a lesser extent ITV have made over this.

Obviously because it will be life changing for some people. And i would think of all the negatives in the current situation, the positives are few and far between therefor are worthy of just a little bit of fuss..

I thought a fit and healthy NHS worker may have been a safer bet to give it to first and have all over the news.

They have already given it to 43,000 volunteers worldwide during clinical trials. This is the first rollout after approval into target patients rather than trials  volunteers.

Oh I agree, but the amount of coverage was unnecessary and overkill.

All those that do not want it make the rest of us closer to getting our two doses.

Come on grumpy ... it’s the first step back to normal for many in the world. We can’t all exist on pigeon and clay shooting 🤣

Oh, as I said, I accept it is important, but just don't see why the overkill is necessary!

Fit and healthy people are at lower risk of dying from Covid ... therefore the elderly patient seems a good choice.

Assuming one believes that the vaccine is safe.

My thoughts were more about the newspaper headlines if she passed away within the next couple of months from anything not just something covid related.
