ferguson_tom
I thought a fit and healthy NHS worker may have been a safer bet to give it to first and have all over the news.
Smokersmith
Fit and healthy people are at lower risk of dying from Covid ... therefore the elderly patient seems a good choice. Assuming one believes that the vaccine is safe.
TIGHTCHOKE
Can't believe how much fuss the BBC News and to a lesser extent ITV have made over this.

Obviously because it will be life changing for some people. And i would think of all the negatives in the current situation, the positives are few and far between therefor are worthy of just a little bit of fuss.. They have already given it to 43,000 volunteers worldwide during clinical trials. This is the first rollout after approval into target patients rather than trials volunteers. Oh I agree, but the amount of coverage was unnecessary and overkill. 1 minute ago, loriusgarrulus said: They have already given it to 43,000 volunteers worldwide during clinical trials. snow white
If she passes away with heart attack or just old age they will put it down to Covid
