DUNKS
It's a sign I tell you a sign Got up this morning "my birthday" to a treat. The remains of a Magpie on my back lawn. I hate them with a vengeance Twas not next doors cat she hunts with precision, quick dash grabs bird and is gone over the fence in seconds. Hardly a lost feather. So not her but whatever it was thanks best birthday treat I will get.. Edited May 18, 2021 by DUNKS

Cosmicblue
Happy Birthday! I'm not a fan of the blighters either, are there any predators (aside from a cat) that would take on a Magpie? twenty
Do you have Goshawk in your area, they will take magpie, (you tube video, Goshawk/magpie). Or possibly Carrion Crow, especially during breeding season. The larger gulls will also attack corvids (Herring Gull, Lesser Black Backed), especially if the corvids have attempted a Gull nest raid.
