boo
Just finished these two off , maple burl & walnut centre , other maple, walnut & purple heart centre , on hazel shanks , cut bits up on bandsaw & glued up , it's a cheap effective way to make a stick top . boo
Theres faults on both of these if you look , surprisingly it's not that hard to have a go in wood , be nice if people give it a try , the big bandsaw is handy now , as can cut veneers , so can maximize what you can get out of a piece of wood ! WalkedUp
Would be interesting if you could box joint the marriage between the shank and head as you have the 3 play laminate.

I would imagine that Boo has joined the handles to the shafts using threaded rod set into each at least 50mm using 2part epoxy resin to both bits. They look fantastic Boo, as usual.
