macca2017
I've never shot over cut rape before, got a chance to tomorrow, birds on it so it looks promising. The stuff looks lethal for the dog though, is taking the dog worth the risk of injury?

London Best
Injury is very likely to a dog working on cut rape. Don’t even think about it!

Krico woodcock
Do most of you take your dogs when decoyin pigeons on stubble, be it wheat, barley?? Is there really much need? I only take a young dog when I want to get a few retrieves, and get steadiness into the young dog. And then it has to be coolish day, with a breeze. Apart from that I pick up my birds myself. Old farrier
When you go out to pick up a few birds you’ll see how deadly cut rape can be not uncommon for the shot birds in be impailed on the spikes never take mine onto the rape
