I’m surprised its given rubbish like this any time or air space.

Possibly because we are treated as adults, well able to see what is being written and make our own minds up as clearly shown by different, carefully worded, common sense, opinions being stated. It is not felt that overly heavy handed censorship is needed.

this is my slant on it. js ramsbottom is £7.18 for 200 pellet agf2 forum member £18 for 200 pellets a difference of£10.82 . does it sound as a rip off. at first glance seems like it does. but if his sales are slow selling 50 pellets at a time he would have to go to the post office 4 times to post 200 pellets which he is probably taken into account to how far away he is from his post office to cover fuel. would i pay his prices no i would not. but other members may pay for small batches to test what pellets suit there rifle the best.so would i call him a rip off artist or a con man no i would not, i think he is covering his *** to my above scenario.

My take on this,,,, every forum has its rules, like them or not, contravene and things go against you,,,, simples 🤷

It's not difficult is it, I'm obviously on both, I might not agree with everything that gets said, but I've not had a warning yet.

I'm with scarecrow on this, providing he was polite what's the problem with him warning people of what he believed to be a rip off. If it wasn't the seller and forum had nothing to fear, but banning him appears to show different.

Because THIER sales rules weren't followed,  it's really very simple,  and if you read the replies above it says he was warned then said ban me!

There are often say pellets for sale, at a dearer price than they can be found online,  it's up to the buyer to decide what they want to pay, I've gone online before checking prices and stuff has sold within a few minutes, for instance someone offered 17 tins of pellets posted today for £90 absolute bargain.

It’s the same on here.

A seller can ask whatever he likes.

It’s his choice, if he wants £50 for £200 pellets then it’s down to him.

If he asks £5 then charges you £50 then there’s a problem.

interfering with sales posts is not allowed on PW as long as the seller is being upfront with what he is doing!

Tbf all 'air gunners' make me laugh.

An airgun is useful tool to have, I’m sure most of us have one or two.

But they all seem to take a 30 yard pop gun and spec it up like its a 50 cal Barrett.....

They put more expensive and larger magnification scopes on a sub 12ftlb airgun than most normal people put on a centre fire 😂.

That's because due to the very low power and therefore very localised damage, they have to be as accurate as possible.

With a sub 12ftlb airgun the damage is limited to the flesh the pellets passes through, there is no hydrostatic shock wave to assist.

In addition, an air rifle pellet has a ballistic profile that makes a 22 rimfire look flat shooting and a centre fire look like a laser, so the good scope is needed to range and place the shot accurately.

I have yet to meet a springer airgunner that can shoot a rifle poorly, but have met plenty of rifle shooters who couldn't hit a barn door with a spring gun.
