samboy
Hi gang. I'm thinking of sending my S410 to them for a full service. The rifle is about 16 years old and not had a lot of use. But things can deteriorate with age and lack of use. So has anyone used the above and been happy with their work ?. Thanks all.
Mice!
Not personally, but I've read nothing bad, you'll get a lifetime warranty on the work, but does it need it? Is it going to make that much difference especially if you don't use it much? I'd say if it's holding air and shooting fine then you've no issues. oldypigeonpopper
Hello, cannot comment on rat works but Logunator did my FX , is it working ok ?
Jega
Yep,had my HW100 done by the guys at Ratworks, absolutely delighted with the work they did. Massively improved shot count, way lighter smoother firing cycle. Go for it.

Jega
Hi mate ,i have a HW100 sporter in.177 calibre . The weight including the scope is a tad under 9lb's . The shot count has gone up from around 50-60 to about 180 -200 , although these are brilliant rifles out of the box this level of tuning/upgrading certainly takes it to the next level . enfieldspares
They are local to me. Five miles away. Used them twice. Very satisfied with all aspects. If coming from afar they are within reasonable distance...six miles of M1 J21A.
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
No work done by them. All comments I've seen have been positive very positive & none negative.
Biffo1262
The S400 is probably one if the simplest PCP's to service yourself. The only niggly bit is the O ring between the gas block and cylinder. Tighten it just a bit too much and you think your gun is knackered as no air gets to the gauge. Just slacken it very carefully till the needle starts to register in the gauge. Anti-tamper plugs on the action and guage block are easily and legally removed with an 8mm drill or better still an 8mm end mill. You won't need to remove the sheer plug on the power anti-tamper if the power setting is OK but if you need to remove it, it just sheers off using a small hammer and flat bladed screwdriver but I advise NOT to do so unless absolutely necessary. Tutorials on YouTube. I did one last week for the first time and it was an absolute doddle compared to most air rifles. Even the extended O ring kit was only £5. GingerCat
In thinking of sending my ultra se there later in the year. Anyone done similar?
enfieldspares
I had, as said, a BSA Scorpion T10 in .22 and ditto in .177 set to 11.50 ft/lbs by them and a regulator fitted to the .177. I rate their work as very good and have no hesitation in recommending them. And, as said, but six miles from M1 J21A.

I booked my bsa ultra mmc in with them about a month ago . Dropped it in to them last Thursday for them to start on Monday just gone . they estimate Lead time is 3/ 4 weeks . Looked to me like a small ish team maybe 6 lads in a little unit . When I was there Got chatting to a lad as he was working on a gun , turns out it was another ultra and he said they currently have 3 more in for work so that instantly made me feel like they must No there way around them . personally I have opted for the full shabang: Full Service and re work , regulate ,slightly longer carbon shroud , bigger cylinder , pressure guage basically everything they can do to the gun as iv had it over 10 years and don’t see me ever parting with it . I will be sure to put some photos and an honest review on here when it’s been in my hands a couple of weeks 👍👍 . But upto now service from them , from initial enquiry Phone call , to booking in, to dropping off and even a few emails after to add on extras has all been very effortless and easy and everyone I have spoke to seems extremely knowledgeable. well that’s my 2p worth 🐿👍
