Ants, millions of em😳

We have had upwards of 39 nests in the lawn and pavement. £50 worth of ant treatment later and countless kettles of boiling water and out lawn was looking the worst for wear. Hopefully our offensive made some difference to the veritable plague proportions.

Also works a treat with scorpions.   And if the ants cause a problem by climbing up onto the dining table, just stand each table leg in a open tin of paraffin  -  they don’t like swimming in it.   I bet Ditchman, like many old "colonial retreads", will remember those tricks.

Alternatively,  you might try biological control using a nematode (Steinernema feltiae), as suggested by the RHS.

We just used duct tape inside the doors, that stopped all the scorpions when I was in Belize.    :good:
