Tinned goods past sell by date

I’ve had a tinned bloc of foie gras du canard in my fridge for years. There is a date on the top which I presume is a best before date of 14/09/2018

If I open it and there’s no signs of deterioration should I dare to try it? Thoughts welcomed. Thanks.

Pop a couple of bog rolls in the fridge first

Seriously you’ll be fine

i know its not funny (as i had it once) ...but just imajine you had a few pints of guiness....then a really scorching hot curry with a dogy prawn cocktail for starter that the lettuce hadnt been washed and it had a touch of salomella on it............

my god it would be like your body turning inside out....spitting out RNLI distress flares in a projectile fashion from both ends............:w00t:
