Pickled

Seeing as it's lashing it down here I thought that I'd do some pickled eggs and pickled garlic 😋

I got four bulbs of garlic into an Aldi pesto jar. And fifteen eggs into a 300g jar of Nescafe coffee.

I use malt vinegar because I'm not keen on the twang of white vinegar.

I did some once but wont do it again due to the amount of complaints receiving about the aroma some time after consuming.

I have been eating these and my Mrs never commented and she is more anti garlic than anyone on this earth 🌎 😒

Try these 😉

Not so sure on pickled garlic but I just got into these today, pickled them just over 2 weeks ago, few twists of pepper and a twist of crushed chilli's into it as well.

Had never thought of trying them in malt vinegar, ill have to give that a go as I've plenty of pickling stuff to use up. Must get some beetroot on the go as well

are you serious ????

Yep, first tried them some years ago, I used to do a bit of beating and picking up on a shoot run by a groups of Greek lads, they and their wife's would lay on a spread on beaters day and pickled Wood pigeon breast was one of the delicacies, they were very nice served with some Greek salad.

One of the Greek lads gave me a pickled egg jar full of them, the wife also liked them.
