Lloyd90
Shot a nice fallow Buck the other week down in Devon . Dropped to the butchers to be turned into burgers and sausages. Not to everyone’s taste but I find much more likely for others to eat it in that form. The butcher mixed it with pork to stop it going dry when cooked. Ended up with 160+ sausages (big ones) and 100+ burgers.

oowee
That's a good idea I have been making some of my own from the Roe deer but I have some reds and fallow to shoot down in Suffolk. I will see if I can get some made up to bring back.

I agree with you about a superb job done on both the burgers and sausages and also I found the burgers I have had at various game fairs were more to my taste than the sausages , might be entirely different with whoever made them , but I found the sausages were a bit on the strong side , this is not to say if I got an invite at Lloyds b b q I would happily devour anything that was put on my plate
