Sadly, far too late. The tipping point has passed? It could almost be a comedy? Allow all and sundry total unknowns in by whatever means, provide good accommodation and money coupled  with the total freedom to roam anywhere unsupervised whilst allowing sectors of our own population to live under bridges an in doorways freezing to death at the mercy of roaming gangs?

I really don't understand why or how this situation has been created?

But hey ho the politicos continue to live 5 star not giving a flying **** as long as their snouts are well buried in the trough waiting for Christmas?

A bit sad really?

These are my thoughts and sentiments too, although I'd have put it a bit stronger and had a week away from PW 🙃

I'm stumped as to how any government will get out of this mire !!!

I do. We've all continued to blindly vote Conservative or Labour!

"because they're the only partys that aren't a wasted vote"

Unfortunately myself included, well not labour, but you know what I mean.

If we want change we need to vote it in.

Remember, if voting had any effect, they wouldn't let us do it!!!

Correct.

How do we force change? None of the idiots in post will vote for change as that would impact their 5* way of life? As long as that way continues they seem  quite happy to suck up the derision that goes with it so long as the trough is constantly  full?

You can only do that if there is someone to vote for!

I didn't think they were going to field a candidate in all seats.

Remains to be seen, they could end up doing what they did after the brexit referendum and hold the cons to account getting promises on key issues and they'd remove their apposing candidates. Either way I believe the important thing is to leave the big parties in no doubt, deliver democracy in what their voters want, or the people will genuinely vote a party in that will deliver.

What's the point in voting for parties that you know will not honour their pledges. For instance :- although I believe their are far bigger issues, the obvious one at the moment is rishis pledge to stop the boats, he's done no such thing and sacked his only minister ( suella brave man) who was hell bent on actually doing it, actions speak louder than words, particularly with politicians!

It's nothing more than a cheap sound bite.

The idea of just sending them all back the same day is hardly new. It would  work too, I have no doubt about that.

The problem is that France won't take them back. They have always steadfastly refused. They are clever because they very carefully do not document the migrants so we cannot prove they ever came from France

That's why we are looking to ship them out to Rwanda.
