Genghis
Before my time, but couldn’t imagine the BBC airing such a programme now. First aired in 1974, but I believe it was filmed a year prior.

TOPGUN749
I remember seeing the programme, I knew Lindsey Tilney, and bought an air rifle from his shop in 1971. I believe he died in 1990 aged 85.The boy Robert was a bit of a big head at school and a bully,he’s 68 now and makes appearances on Antiques Roadshow, still full of his own importance! Wymondley
Thanks for that, fantastic programme, takes me back to my childhood. It was certainly a far better world then.

Is he the idiot that told its owner that their deactivated Vickers MMG was worth "absolutely nothing". If so he did come across as boorish and pedantic. And quite a silly man. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-48549105
