They have been 'out of office' for a long time, so probably out of practice. Got off to a flying start though; Inflation busting pay rises Releasing prisoners Amnesty(?) for immigrants (to clear 'backlog' allegedly) Riots in the streets NHS industrial action All getting off to a flying start on typical Labour favourites. Now we just need the rubbish piling up in the streets and the dead left un-burried and we will get a taste of real nostalgia

udderlyoffroad
Indeed, it’s amazing how quickly the wheels are coming off. But I suspect this may be more due to the modern social media/media landscape, highlighting their shortcomings, combined with the weather, than anything else. Self-selecting sample I know, but very few people I speak to trust or even bother with mainstream broadcasters anymore. Nevertheless, it’s amazing how manty unforced errors they’re making. Caving into the BMA who then not only immediately announce strikes again but also….want a ban lifted on puberty blockers. Just wow, what a depraved organisation. Any sensible government would want to put a million miles between it and such an outfit. Risk the ire of their red-wall voter base by endorsing (through omission) in that broadcast, two-tier policing. Removing winter fuel allowance whilst at the same time doing everything possible to increase energy prices, short of tactically nuking Iran. Brace yourselves, it’s going to be a tough winter. Got their eyes on a 22% pay rise. Won't be long before everyone on the tax payer's £ will be looking for 22% Everybody on the taxpayers £ will be looking to upgrade to 1st class on the gravy train and labour have started handling out the tickets... No doubt someone will be along shortly to tell us we have to endure, bring the country to its knees, because the tories made such a bad job of government Its a peculiar logic, reminds me of when the Russian revolution came about and everyone was promised a land of milk and honey if they got rid of the ruling class and embraced socialism. 80 years of utter nightmare later, 10s of millions starved to death, and a subjugated populace, they finally realised it wasnt such a great idea. Blimey, I do hope that you aren't suggesting a Putin dictatorship as the solution. But you are right, socialism, communism, whatever always ends in tears because at the end of the day, if they can't make money, folk don't work.
