This would allow him to knock out the space x competitor (Boeing Starliner)

These Boeing Starliners ? https://jalopnik.com/nasa-drops-boeing-starliner-from-upcoming-missions-1851676293

Theyve already 'knocked themselves out' of the competition by being poorly designed and unsafe.
Did the Whitehouse influence this decision to not use them anymore ?
Because Im pretty sure Musk or Trump arent part of that decision making process at present.

Musk ' The world does not need another capsule'

'Head of Govt Efficiency' is the role offered by Trump which would allow him to have control over regulators. He has so much influence and control over whatever govt wins that he is just like some Bond super villain. Too big to fail.

Will he be off to jail when Harris wins?

Thats because he sees space travel and administration of space based assets differently, the man pushes the boundaries of 'accepted' technology with revolutionary products. That is is indisputable.

Government regulators, the US works on a federal level and a state level, and the role Trump has offered him doesnt mean he can pick and choose every aspect aspect of free market business, to suggest this theoretical role does, is absurd.

For WHAT ?
Would you be willing to bet on Harris winning, because I wouldnt risk a penny on it !
Trump will win, not by the margins predicted, but he ahead in enough polls in key states to become POTUS again, unpalatable as that may be to some.

If Trump were in charge who knows what he could control or influence. He is clearly conflicted.

Prison. It's something he himself has suggested.

Harris winning. The early voting looks to be well in her favour. UK odds DT 4/7 KH 11/8

Trumps already been in charge, no issues when he was, if Musk gets a governmental advisory position, there would be a huge oversight on him giving unfair advantages to his own company, thats if he even accepts the position.

He has been offered a role in the Trump administration. This would allow him to knock out the space x competitor (Boeing Starliner) and remove the current legislative controls on his businesses.

Sounds like he might be approaching business the same way as the rest then?🤔

That rally was pretty bad to say the least. I cannot believe that his team has so little control. Use of the c word to describe the opposition from Musk is a new low. Our politics may get a bit stupid with the likes of Corbyn, Truss and Johnson but we still retain a degree of politeness.
