Did the Whitehouse influence this decision to not use them anymore ? Because Im pretty sure Musk or Trump arent part of that decision making process at present. Musk ' The world does not need another capsule' 'Head of Govt Efficiency' is the role offered by Trump which would allow him to have control over regulators. He has so much influence and control over whatever govt wins that he is just like some Bond super villain. Too big to fail. Will he be off to jail when Harris wins? That is is indisputable. 19 minutes ago, oowee said: 'Head of Govt Efficiency' is the role offered by Trump which would allow him to have control over regulators. Government regulators, the US works on a federal level and a state level, and the role Trump has offered him doesnt mean he can pick and choose every aspect aspect of free market business, to suggest this theoretical role does, is absurd. 19 minutes ago, oowee said: Will he be off to jail when Harris wins? For WHAT ? Would you be willing to bet on Harris winning, because I wouldnt risk a penny on it ! Trump will win, not by the margins predicted, but he ahead in enough polls in key states to become POTUS again, unpalatable as that may be to some. If Trump were in charge who knows what he could control or influence. He is clearly conflicted. Prison. It's something he himself has suggested. Harris winning. The early voting looks to be well in her favour. UK odds DT 4/7 KH 11/

Trumps already been in charge, no issues when he was, if Musk gets a governmental advisory position, there would be a huge oversight on him giving unfair advantages to his own company, thats if he even accepts the position. 32 minutes ago, oowee said: Harris winning. Gordon R
oowee - all credit to you. You didn't try to bluster your way out of it, but just held up your hands and admitted a mistake. Takes a bigger person to do that. Well done.

Rewulf
Anyway... Back to Trumpy... This video from a fairly neutral source sums up the level of 'lawfare' his political opponents are willing to go for.
Rewulf
Apparently Trump presided over a nazi rally yesterday...
oowee
That rally was pretty bad to say the least. I cannot believe that his team has so little control. Use of the c word to describe the opposition from Musk is a new low. Our politics may get a bit stupid with the likes of Corbyn, Truss and Johnson but we still retain a degree of politeness. 12gauge82
I find both sides as bad as each other and I include the media to. I also believe there's little doubt that the hostility both from and towards D Trump has led to several attempts on his life. What a world we live in!
