Yup,,,, your hair was a bit tidier, but instantly recognisable 🙋‍♂️😆 What were you "mostly doing" on that day ?

think we were going to the theatre to see "puss in boots"......which was a big trip out for all of us as we lived in a very small village and had no contact with the outside world...............

that sounds really mad/weird now dosnt it ?

Compared to us Simon , you looked like you had a very wealthy up bringing , if we had a coach trip we had to pretend we were ill as we didn't have any decent gear to wear , our clothes were passed on to my brothers and sisters and it wouldn't look right if I had borrowed my sister dress to go to Norwich for the day on the bus , or would it ? , the teachers must had twigged it because we were always as right as ninepence the following day after reporting bed ridden the day before .:drinks:

Here`s our Sunday School outing from the early fifties.

I`m the smallest one there (front row, first on the right) and before anyone says it, no I haven`t grown much in 70 odd years:whistling:image1.jpeg.b0d3f2e3767d9dfc0c1e7e1ca704d209.jpeg

I was trying to keep that part of my checkered life a secret O B , but the grapevine on the forum is far stronger than I ever imagined , I think what caught me out was the size 11 water boots that I had to wear with the dress.

Believe it or not Simon I was picking up with A W yesterday , we had our first ( small ) family day on the estate yesterday , we only shot till late dinner and then called it a day , the bag was around the 100 mark and I will show you the Mallard I brought home for my tea later on during the week .

I would imagine that you have changed a sight more than A W , it didn't look a lot different yesterday than he looked when your photo was taken .

Was it a shooting day or a field trial , I would never miss either so It would had been a good possibility I would had been there rubbing shoulders with the P / W master chef . :good:

I very much doubt it O B , that photo look as if it came from the Victorian era and where Simon looked as if he went from rags to riches , we never got off the bottom rung that was exclusive for the people who only had rags 😢
