Hello from West Yorkshire

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Thought it was best to do a quick introduction as I've been lurking in the background for a few weeks.

I'm an avid trout fisherman (hence the username) and the ideal plan was to fish through the summer and then shoot through the winter.  So finally, after about 4 years of saying I would, I've slowly started trying my hand at a bit of shooting and I think I'm already hooked.

A few weeks ago I was invited out with a friend on one of his permissions after crows and pigeons and since then it's all I've been able to think about.

I really like the looks of being in a hide going after pigeon or ducks so I'm keen to use this forum to learn all I can, I'm sure the learning curve is a steep one.

Thanks for listening to my rambling!

Hello, Well done, Plenty of advice here on the pigeon/ crow shooting,  What type of Trouting, River/Lake ??

Rivers really ..... but my absolute favourite is packing my lightest gear and trying to coax some wild browns out of woodland streams. There's nothing finer!
