team tractor Posted Sunday at 19:44 Report Share Posted Sunday at 19:44 (edited) Today I thought I’d clear my head with a ride out on the Tenere . It’s been a crazy week after the mrs leaving . Porthmadog was the destination for a Sunday dinner with some family. honestly I just love the place . oowee Posted Sunday at 19:58 Report Share Posted Sunday at 19:58 Looks like a cracking ride out. A nice part of the world indeed. From here though N Wales is not so close when we have the attractions of Devon on the doorstep. A far cry from living in Sutton Coldfield when N wales was a regular drive out. Alas, small two strokes never really pull in the money (too many survivors). The serious money is in Brough Superiors, Vincents, Rudges, Velos and (strangely to me) early Honda 4s and Kawasaki 750 3s

Yes, bubble cars seem to be very "in" at the moment. The vehicle that terrified me the most as a teenager was my elder brother's Heinkel, which frightened me to death as a passenger. I must admit, that the front of the car, whether Isetta or Heinkel was very close to one`s body with very little protection in the event of a collision. This is a model of mine in the same colour etc. OB

A French pal had one which he tamed by putting it into a Rickman frame, so that it handled on rails, however he still found it far too frantic.
