amateur
Liver, bacon, lovely tomatoey gravy, cauliflower cheese, mash, peas, sprouts and carrots. It didn't stay long on the plate. I forgot to photo the pancakes, raspberries and créme fraiche pud.

It's how she cooks it.

Lambs my favourite Lambs was my usual 'goto', though calves (very expensive) was nice. Pigs often had too strong a flavour for me. Sadly now off my menu as it is very high risk for gout. I find Roe deer is the nicest, very mild tasting but delicious 😋
JKD
Lambs liver, bacon and basic veg is a favourite of mine, with a luscious onion gravy of course 😋 Don't have it too often as I almost have it as a treat 😆
amateur
I prefer calf's liver, but never see that or venison liver in the shops, so lambs' it is. If I am eating in an Italian restaurant and they have calf's liver on the menu, I will often go for that.

M&S used to do calf liver - but it was expensive, and was pre sliced very thin for flash frying. It was nice, but not really how I liked my liver. I love liver but the rest of the family aren't fans so we don't have it at home. I regularly visit a supplier of mine in Sheffield and I look forward to those trips as the greasy spoon around the corner do an awesome liver, bacon & onion butty. welsh1
Love a bit of liver, either just fried with onions or in a nice rich gravy, that meal looks great.
