Hello, I know, I might try some Sausages in it tomorrow , I like them well cooked as i get in the Frying pan

If you do, go in gently, ***** the sausages and place in the air fryer.

Set the temperature to 180 degrees and the timer for 8 minutes.

Half way through have a look at them and give the basket a shake to move them around.

When the 8 minutes is up you can decide if they need another couple of minutes.

Not sure how they would taste with them being nearly a year old , T C is a lover of items that have been in the freezer for several months and on all accounts they haven't done him any harm but surely you could get a few fresh(er) ones from members who live not that far from you , Where in East Anglia are you ?   MM

I have had pork chops that have been in the freezer for a few months and not only do they look terrible they taste just as bad ,there must be a time limit on how long you can freeze certain foods ? , I do put stuff in the freezer then I ease up with buying stuff until most of the recent stuff is used up , but t b h is there any need to eat a year old Pigeon breast when you have a job to give them away in this day and age and members who live nearby would be only to happy to drop a few fresh off now and again  , :hmm:

Yea but why leave them that long before using them up , I don't like buying anything even if it have been reduced if I have already got the same stuff in the freezer , I haven't tried to many other meats but the pork I have had look more like rotten pork than the real thing and no there is nothing wrong with my freezer , when you look on the back of something and it say eat within so many months then it must be on there for a reason , just no meed to leave it in for months and even years before eating it . All the way it is packed before freezing.. anything properly vacum packed will last a long time in freezer,  without any harm to the meat.. as for air fryer, pigeon breast,  could dry it out,  I'd rub some olive oil on them first,  and season,  before putting in airfryer.  Air fryers work better with,  meat with higher fat content,  eg pork chops, sausages etc,

Simply because with two freezers stuff gets put in on top of other stuff and I lose track.

I would have thought that an ex-serviceman like you would have tick lists and charts in triplicate to keep on top of it 🤣

Really? It doesn't bother me, I get stuff out to defrost and eat it, there is only stuff in there that I put in so I take very little notice.   :cool1:

I can see the local headline now

"Ex-serviceman found poisoned due to disorderly freezer - if only he'd maintained a proper system"

🤣

Maybe, but as they are constantly freezing I doubt it.  :cool1:

I hadn't heard of Witham but just looked it up and it is a fair way away from mine but if you do get stuck with finding some fresh ones then let me know and I will send you some frozen breasts that will only be a few days old , the roost shooting start the first Saturday in February so it wouldn't be to hard to drop on to some .   :good:   MM
