There is no such Company listed and that is not a trade card AFAIK, I might be a little cynical in my old age but why try and make it look like you are a Pest Controller ? Nothing wrong, per se, but I think you may have over thought your card? Just my opinion of course and I'm happy to apologise if my impression is wrong.

While we're on the subject does anyone have any Deer stalking that needs sorting out i've got a big gun and some wellies And i will dispose of the carcass for you so no charge at all.

If there are any with some big horns i will shoot those too.

Willing to travel for a 45p a mile charge.

Thanks

That's awfully good of you to offer, do you have any supporting cards?

One bit of advice for the op is don't turn up in a battered 4 x 4 in the fenland area if you see some wheel marks over a crop field or getting stuck on there o s r field , what happened to the member who was going to travel over four or five counties, we didn't seem to hear how many perms he obtained  :hmm:

All this B A S C insurance  and cards printed is new to me and wondered if this is the modern way in doing things , I would have thought a registered  pest Controller would need a lot more insurance cover than a B A S C membership card ,

I don't think that approach would help him a great deal on ours , there is no such thing as a free lunch , he would need to have eye to eye contact and would need to help out on shoot days like everyone else , this would give the keeper a chance to weigh this new recruit up , a lot can be found out with a chat and any past experience he might have , a lot of our beaters and helpers have been on ours for years , they live fairly local and if any of them wanted a bit of Pigeon shooting now and again I could trust them 100% , trust is built up over a period of time , and you cannot cut corners by having some cards printed out . the OP did not say it was a pest control business, think the clue is ‘free’ although he’s tried to make the card look like a business card I don't see a problem with that.            Not got a clue what ‘farm yard trained’ is?

Best of luck to him, at least he’s made an effort.

The words PEST GUARD to me implies that this is a company or indicates some kind of officialdom surely? + "I am fully insured and responsible PEST CONTROLLER" would also give more than a passing nod to such an occupation.

Must add, that I also have never heard of this 'Farm yard pest control training' 🤔

Where does one apply for such a course, does one have to pay for this training ? As once qualified it may help myself gain more permissions 🤷‍♂️

Ahhh, thanks. Must get some cheap old wellies then. I presume the farmer will provide the shovel ? 🤷‍♂️

Yes, but if you do have your own, you will get a higher mark in the exam.

It's a pity we don't hear more from the people who start these threads off , all we are doing is talking amongst ourselves , if they interact and tell us if these cards are bringing in results , or they have had a very little response then he might strike lucky and be pointed in the right direction , who knows ? , a member might live close by and through lack or time or health issues they could do with a hand , all we seem to get is one request and that is it , either they are over loaded with new perms or they are fed up with it all before they even make a start .
