Snotty
First Sunday in the month I do a clayshoot 5 mins from Bisley Camp. If any one fancies a freebie, meet the locals, I can take a guest and I can lend a gun. Only one slight drawback, it's muzzle loading

henry d
just a quick question how much cash are you guys takeing? I think we are looking at about £15-20 per day. (sat and sunday) plus £45 (maybe less) for clays Maybe a small fee for camping if they get wise to us Plus about the same again for liquids. Drink costs are minimal for me, £130-140 in fuel @ todays prices

Snotty
Talking of madness.. The spark eroder finally broke through the spike in one of my Falkirk 6 pounders so I can now fire blanks. I shall try it out on Sunday, half a pound of blasting powder, Celotex wad, 3 lbs of wet grass clippings to get the pressure up and give it a bit of recoil. I'll post a movie and let you lot decide whether it warrants moving over 8 cwt of iron from car park to firing line and (hopefully) back again or I would be a bit stuck best Snotty Edited May 31, 2008 by Snotty

Snotty
Half a pound of powder, 2 lbs of grass. The camera microphone couldn't handle the boom. Blimey, I thought there was supposed to be a bit of fizz before the bang, here's me leaping back when ignition is instantaneous. http://www.robinhewitt.net/Falkirk.wmv (1.23Mb) And here's the entire loading/firing process from behind. http://www.robinhewitt.net/Falkirk2.wmv (11.55Mb)
danielsonson
Hi I will be there, Plus we live 100 yards away so if we can help in anyway just shout. I am also the secretary of the local clay club and know most of the smooth bore clubs in the camp well. Also Gary Evans who runs Canada house shooting lodge is a good friend and i could organise to have the bar opened one of the evenings for a meet up its a lovely lodge with polar bear, tiger and moose skins ....you name it. plus he has a dozen rooms that he rents out that are extremely reasonable with optional cooked breakfast! recomended!! if anyone is interested then let me know and i will get some more details etc. Nick if you like i could arrange a sporting layout for you on the neighbouring MOD range (given enough notice) very reasonably indeed, although BSG is a nice setup too (just more expensive). let me know if i can help anyways< :( thanks PW great site!!!
