It only took a pint of Guiness and all of a sudden we were Rock Stars....Billy Idol, Blondie and Bon Jovi... Obviously timing was everything and the rest of the family (Our Groupies) were simply amazed at our talents especially with my vocal tone X Factor here we come.....NOT

Gordon R
Our big Akita had the runs. Took him to the vets on Friday. She asked what it looked like. I said it was my wife who had witnessed it. She said it would have been better if she knew what it looked like. As I stood at the counter pressing the credit card buttons, my foot felt very warm. The dog had squirted **** all over my trainers, socks and trousers (all now in the bin - the stench was awful). I turned to the vet and said - "your wish is granted". kernel gadaffi
Invited the sister in law for dinner on christmas day, she had all the conversation skills of a Trappist Monks pet parrot and a face like a wheelie bin fire. lord_seagrave
a face like a wheelie bin fire. I hope you don't mind KG, but I'm going to use that one Excellent! Oh, and, on topic, the daftest thing I did this Christmas was selflessly agreeing to man the office today and tomorrow, necessitating an extra couple of hundred miles in the Volvo (hot air blowers stopped working - but the seat warmers are doing fine)... And, if anyone knows how I can get the hot air working again - my petrified white fingers would be eterenally grateful! LS
Wookie
Was in Canada skiing right up until Christmas day. Now back at work (joy), but it's really quiet, so not too much drama. Now, if only I could get my e-mail to work properly...

Got the same. Horrendous cough I can't shift and a bit 'fluey'. Normally smoke around 20 a day but since Christmas day morning I haven't had one. Not fancied it at all either. Fingers crossed it stays that way. At about £5.50 a packet and 7 packets a week, i'm saving £38.50 a week, £154 a month and a nice £1848 a year. Good luck with quiting Mungler. Imperfection
Oh yes, will also take this opportunity to stop smoking (wokka wokka etc) Try patches and eating something sugary like fruit pastilles first thing in morning when the cravings are worst.I quit almost three years ago and it was them which prevented me from: a)Ripping work collegues heads off. b)Starting smoking again.
