daz2202
Always had o/u and shoot with a guy who always uses a winchester semi. I've been thinking for a while how beneficial that 3rd shot is and have started looking about. I want a cheapo so dont end up in tears when its scratched etc. I also am not interested in fashion. lots of mixed reviews on the escorts but very little on the mossberg 935. What are your opinions ? Guest topshot_2k
mossberg is adifferent league to the escort. its better built and will last years, i would rather spend the bit extra. As with everyhting you get what you pay for

flippermaj
Mossy835, Not being too nosey I hope, but if the Escort was that good why did you sell it? Cheers Flipper
throdgrain
As has been said, the Mossberg is in a different league to the Escort, and for not much more money. Personally my advice would be to go for the Mossberg 500, you still get 3 or more shots, but its even more reliable, cheaper (I think) and will quite probably last several life times

peter-peter
don't fall into the escort or webley trap. for £300 or so you can pick up a beretta 300 series a far better bit of kit and when you have done with it you can still sell it. mossies are good but not in the same league as beretta good sound advice. throdgrain
Mossberg 500 pump action is the most reliable thing in the world ever, and is cheaper than the semi auto and just as effective. I have heard tales of issues with the semi auto in fairness.
Chard
read the american forums and the mossbergs aint reliable. blink.gif i would buy the escort as proven over and over ( from real peoples reviews on here ) again good.gif I reckon I've seen a lot more adverse comments about Escorts on this forum over the years than good ones Get a Mossberg pump. Indestructable and reliable. mossberg pump i would agree but avoid the semi auto ... ... only issue ( for me ) with the pump is that it only has a 3" camber and like 3.5" for wildfowling ... just wish they did a 3.5" version
