MadMatt1979
Tried them and hated them! They go bang alright but just couldn`t get on with them!!! If you can afford them gamebore "Black Gold" are great if a little on the pricey side! Edited June 17, 2009 by MadMatt1979
Vince Green
If they bring down the pigeons OK then everything else is unimportant. Are the pigeons so fussy? The insult confetti cartridges was always thrown at the old Sellier and Bellot cartridges but I still think they were the best pigeon cartridges ever made. I would much rather use a 32g than a 28g. MerseaDavid
I have used them many times and had no trouble with them. But I would recommend the kent velocity 6 shot 32 gram cartridges, they work great on pigeons, or just buy the Eley hawks best pigeon cartridge they are normally cheap and they drop pigeons at some great distances and kill them clean. motty
in a word there terrible dirty things!!!id recommend any gamebore shell bar kent veloicty 28g 7.5!!! mick I have no problem with this cheap but totally capable shell ( kent velocity 28g 7 1/2). I can regularly kill pigeons cleanly at all sporting ranges with them.
Holepuncher
Hi I've used hundreds of D & J 8s and 9s for shhoting clays. They are a little heavy on recoil but in every other way they are fine. Regards Holepuncher Edited June 21, 2009 by Holepuncher

Guest topshot_2k
i have seen the cases damaged when extracted from an auto. They are not that cheap now either so i prefer to get something a bit better quality.
utectok
rubbish carts last resort only dirty & jammers they r often called. Pretty much anything else is an improvment.
Chard
They are not that cheap now either so i prefer to get something a bit better quality. That's it in a nutshell. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them and they're not particularly dirty. What's a bit of dirt anyway, a boresnake rips it straight out The fact is that, as topshot says, they're not even cheap now. Plenty of better cartridges at better prices now. When they were cheap, I shot thousands of them, never had a single misfire. Edited July 3, 2009 by Chard
Jim Sarakun
I have no problem with this cheap but totally capable shell ( kent velocity 28g 7 1/2). I can regularly kill pigeons cleanly at all sporting ranges with them. Started using these January this year, nice snappy cheap cartridge. Average 3 miss fires per 1000 and they work fine in my Datsun. £40 a 1000 cheaper than I was previously using so I can buy more, oh and I found I have to give the bird less leed, a bum belly beak bang cartridge for sure.
