Hi. Clay and game have some steel data. But is seems a lot of powder. Was quoting 25 grains for 20 gauge 24 gram steel 5s. 550 bar 1250 ish fps. I can't remember which no. Give steve a ring he should have some 12 gauge loads they may suit what you want.

Opened a few of my 20g 24g steel 5s. Powder fairly consistent by half a grain some excess shot I'm not sure if that could be an issue with the steel shot although no apparent marks on my barrels after quite a few thousand . They no longer have the plastic base they appear to be some kind of fibre now and still say made in italy. Over all a good pigeon cartridge and reasonably priced.

Did you expect anything different ???. There no different to all our big charities. Huge salaries at the top for doing very little whilst mainly volunteers do the work. They get nothing from me now.

All we need is the non toxic wads everything else is available. Surely they are doable at a reasonable price, the joker steel card wads are made somewhere so 20, 28 and 410 gauges must be possible at a reasonable price I'm sure the sales volumes would make it worth it. Opportunity for someone out there.

The Damascus twist barrel is made by material a lot softer than modern steel it easily bulges and also dents you can whittle it with a knife how can it withstand steel shot ; But they take lead plaswad loads 600/800 bar. So standard steel plaswad or bio wad loads would be fine i would have thought. I'm no expert though.
