It was on their Facebook Page
  2. I keep reading there is a big oversupply of poults this year. is there going to be some very cheap birds in the next couple of months as producers try to offload stock?

Guido Fawkes has been about as subtle as a brick.
  4. Never really understood those who constantly chop and change the expensive stuff. It’s nice to have nice things, treat ourselves occasionally and buy something of real quality which will improve success rates or enjoyment. But just bouncing from one shiney thing to another, never understood it. I had a colleagues who had made a small fortune on stocks way back when, he bought a new BMW every year eaxcept for a brief dalliance with range rovers, I could never understand it, he lost a load of money in depreciation every year, all for the sake of have a new (expensive) car on the drive. But it was his money to spend as unwisely as he wanted.
  5. All I know is a lot of game keepers jobs are at risk, I doubt they will receive any compensation, just there P45’s.
  6. Funny you should mention this, they have mown the verge at a very dodgy junction at the end of my lane (good). But then carried on to mow the full 10 metre wide verge all the way back to the villag (bad) , 200 metres of four - five foot tall meadowsweet and grasses etc all hacked down. Partridge still on first nest, pheasants possibly on second or with chicks, tweety birds all nesting. Local Arable fields are wildlife deserts and still the farmers cannot leave the only bit of cover alone.

    Pancreas

All the very best of Luck!
  8. Lots of chicks and poults ‘advertised’ on various groups. There maybe more around this year than some expected, barring the Bettws Hall disaster.

    Coronation.

Grimsby virgins! A dozen of them! Good luck finding them, shears in hand!.
  10. The inference is that Labour voters are not that bright, lack inclination and/or ability to procure the necessary form of ID prior to voting. Most cannot be ***** to go to the polls anyway so any disincentive could theoretically work to other parties advantage. probably right to be fair.
  11. Well, getting ready to go on the coach from the rugby club to London Sunday morning, check my flight details to see which terminal I will need to go to at Heathrow later, only to read my flight is from Gatwick! Had to leave at halftime for a prebooked Uber (the Mrs did it for me) and got to Gatwick in 42 minutes, cost a few pennies less than a ton. In hindsight I had loads of time to spare and could have seen the whole match, but caught up on YouTube the next day. They won and I got to work on time.
  12. Always. Same as those actually in a takeaway should take precedent over those who ring their orders in. And anyone parking on double yellows whilst they collect their preordered takeaway should be incarcerated then shot.
  13. Breeding Teal are a real rarity in the UK lowlands. They will nest in the uplands , think bogs on moors and similar. I doubt there is anything you can do to encourage teal to breed on a typical lowland pond or drain. As a breeding bird they like ‘wild land’, by far the majority of our wintering birds come from across the North Sea, Scandinavia, Baltic states possibly Russia (lots of wigeon come from Russia). Best to encourage Mallard to breed.
  14. Well yes, but not to any great extent. Foxes are by far the major pheasant predator.
  15. Thanks gents, I’ve downloaded the Uber app. Just need to figure out how it all works.
  16. I am going to watch a rugby match at Twickenham on Sunday, my local club team have qualified for a National final. Travelling south on a coach etc. Now the problem is I need to go to work that evening, and have a flight from Heathrow to catch 2 1/2 hours after the match finishes. I may well have to leave early, but what is the best way to get from the rugby ground to Heathrow T2, in particular is there a taxi rank outside or near the ground? The website has plenty of info about how to get to the ground, but none about how to get away from it…. thanks in advance.
  17. Stop it with this ‘shot this ‘ and ‘shot that’ ********. You have been doing it for years and it wasn't funny then and is not funny now. Does a disservice to your images.
  18. I said custodial sentence at the very start and that’s what he got. He was warned but carried on, it was obvious they were going to make an example of him.
  19. No fan of Abbot, but I agree with her. Based on the premise that the Irish, the Jews and the travellers are not races.
  20. BASC have spent a reasonable chunk of money from the fighting fund in the fight against restrictive NE wildfowling consents. Now they might have not had startling success, NE hold all the cards so to speak in regards to the law. But the money has been spent.
  21. Well a few years ago it would not have been an issue, because that house, and those people, wouldn’t have been there.
  22. Oh well accidents happen. New build house by the looks.
  23. Savour them whilst they last. I am very pessimistic about the future of wild boar in this country.
