I would let them stay. I would also insist they all pay council tax. Tax and insure their vehicles and pay PAYE. If they all agree to this then stay, if not F... Off back to Ireland. Pay up like the rest of us have to.

Well said. If the USA defaults the rest of the world will be in serious economic trouble. Europe and the Euro will collapse. The bigger economies in Europe will just about survive depending on how much they have invested directly or indirectly with the USA. How will that affect us, the working man?. Most private pension schemes and some public pension schemes depend heavily on investments held within the US. Many US firms have franchises in Europe and large parts of the business based in Europe. It’s a scary time and as Vince Green eludes to this could be part of the bigger plan to oust Obama !.

We have bought wells, goats, tools, seed, built schools and hospitals, Oh and all African debt was written off was it not, and we were all told if this was done Africa could then look after it’s self. Welding is very difficult and often not successful on thinner cast metals, thick cast metals welds well. You can get it Brazed. Use good quality brazing rods and the joint should hold.

Under planning law the dimensions of the proposed build would have been looked at by the case officer. They would decide if the plans were true to scale. If they were produced by an architect they would have been CAD not hand drawn. Planning are usually very anal regarding plans therefore they must have looked right. If the build has started you will find it very difficult to get it changed, but not impossible. You will need to prove the building is substantially different from the published plans. FC
