Now if only you lot lived in Lincolnshire...................
bruno22rf replied to TIGHTCHOKE's topic in Food and Drink
You can buy a slow cooker for £20, if it was a real game changer I would assume anybody with enough brain cells to form a duo would already have one? What is lacking is the inability to use such things IMO. Besides, if I lived in Lincolnshire I would live on Haslet - can't get the stuff for love nor money round here 😡. -
I would imagine that the cost of organising/distributing the £10 is higher than the bonus. Doesn't even cover energy price increases for a fortnight.

Optics warehouse are selling the non ir version for £55, could be why you've had little interest?
-
Do the same with my 10 yo springers and they are full of beans. I try and give a higher protein food the day before any hard going for them as well.
-
I agree, but I find some of the comments made on this thread ridiculous and not what you would expect from the usual high standards on this forum. Let the man be, what's next - bunch of karens demanding that risque post cards are banned from seaside gift shops.
-
If they work in your barrel great, the blurb says that the lighter weight is ideal for use in high power rifles - but they dont mention if that's FAC or not and, in my experience with my FAC S510, heavier pellets are far more accurate downrange. IMHO over the last 3-4 years JSB have dipped in quality and I prefer newer brands like JTS Dead centre or Norma Gold Trophy HT for hunting.

No it isn't, if you shot them you would be guilty of shooting them. What we are all banging on about is ,in a way, somebody saying that you shot them because they can smell money by telling tales.
-
All this hate talk and supposition and what is he actually guilty of? A bit of seaside post card humour, I doubt that there is a single member on this forum that has never enjoyed slipping a double entendre into a conversation. This witch hunt is ridiculous.

A size might help your sale ?

I like sending cards to people I don't know, gives me pleasure to think of people worrying that they have forgotten to send a card to someone they must have forgotten.

Had a response from PF, basically they have said that they will have the depot manager remind the driver that falsifying documents is not going to get them a glittery Christmas card and that, should this situation occur again, I should get back in touch. Laughable in my opinion that they can knowingly employ a driver proven to be dishonest.

Chicken Tikka Masala actually translates to Tikka (pieces) and Masala (gravy) so pretty much anything goes. BIR have come to Standish the recipe as basically a Tomato and Almond sauce with cream for smoothness. Really easy to make a stunning dish in a slow cooker, trick is (in my experience) to only use quality ground Almonds and not cheap supermarket offerings.

As I'm a lover of cooking I used to watch avidly but eventually the total woke of the show made me sick, some drag Queen called kitty scott claws (and balls) was constantly referred to as her - not watched it since nor will I ever again.

Just about sums up the whole affair, as for Rod sticking his oar in why didn't his other half kick off at the time?

On a slightly different angle, met a man last year while in hospital and spent 3 weeks in the same room. He was telling me that he claims that he is homeless so the hospital cannot kick him out thus he gets to stay for weeks rent free. He actually has a flat in a different county that he rents out but spends his money on alcohol, gets drunk and arrested for being disorderly then smashes his head against anything he can in custody, gets taken to hospital and the cycle starts over again. Actually a nice bloke but talk about playing the system, even watched him asking for bottles as he claimed he couldn't walk to the toilet as he was unstable just so he didn't have to get out of bed.

20g semi and shoot from the other shoulder, feels really odd for a couple of weeks but you adapt quite quickly.

So the son in law to be been having problems with his Relay Van messing around, stop/start not working, engine light coming on ,no temp sensors working.Took it to the main dealer to get it looked at under warranty and turns out it's the wing mirror, apparently it has several sensors inside that communicate with the ECU. Now it was smashed by another van several weeks ago so the lad fitted an Ebay job for £50 but it looks like it doesn't have the electrics so Citron have quoted £800 + labour to fit an new mirror. Quick look on ebay and a PAIR of OEM mirrors inc electrics new are £250!!! He's told them where they can shove their mirror.

Brilliant little guns, from memory a replacement walnut adult stock is under £100 so easy to turn into a full size (check current price with the sportsman gun centre).
-
Just to add - I'm left handed but not one of my 13 shotguns is dedicated LH, try as many as you can. I have an early Miroku 3000 bought off here many years ago cheap as chips, 28 inch multi RH stock and fits me like it was made for me, going to be buried with it.

Which curry are you not a fan of OPP? There's literally thousands of different dishes and often you need to visit a decent restaurant and tell the staff what flavours you prefer, they can then suggest a dish you might like. We have a friend who shared you dislike, took him to our favourite Indian and he discussed his tastes with the manager, a meal was put before him and now he orders the same dish every time we go as he's addicted to it.

Our best local restaurant has "Indian" and "Bangladesh" food written over the door.Besides, before 1947 were they not all the same country?

Just had a txt message informing me that a parcel delivery was attempted at 4:30 this afternoon - odd as our CCTV clearly shows nobody near our house 1/2 hour either side of that time - some low life scum is telling porkies. The item was posted last Thursday on a 24 hour service and it's still not here!!!Now there's a service you can trust. Have put in a complaint offering CCTV evidence, just waiting now for some half ar**d lame excuse.🤬.

London best is spot on, cheap nasty things that cock the hammer via the top lever from memory, pretty sure I've given away 4-5 of these over the years. His comment on choke brings back a vivid memory - out shooting with a novice many years ago and he was using a Snipe, crow flew over and neither of us saw it till it was almost across the field and heading away, novice points the Snipe at it and before I could say "don't bother" he shot it stone dead, we paced it out at 75 yards!!

BSA .22 Stalker Rifle FAC John Bowkett
bruno22rf replied to dave1992's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
No apologies needed Sir, just didn't want anyone thinking they could buy the gun without a valid FAC.
