  1. However you fix it back together I would be tempted to bolt/river a piece of steel underneath to take any further pressure, I would imagine 5mm would do it but obviously you will need to do both sides.
  2. We are with Anglian Water and each time they send us our water rates they include the option to join Homeserve free for the first year so we joined last year then cancelled when necessary.
  3. Might be worth looking at HOMESERVE plumbing insurance, think they do one for £4/month that would have covered you for this problem with a £30 excess?
  4. Not really as the Gas was turned off the day before by British Gas and any gas was long gone.
  5. I really feel for you but when you take out a policy you need to spend time to find out exactly what you are covered for.We had a Gas leak a few years ago and we had an emergency cover policy, but when the gasman came out he told us that is was wear and tear and that we would not be covered so he suggested that I drill a hole through the floor and puncture the gas pipe - he even lent me his drill!! Accidental cover was included so we were well happy!!

    Oh dear...

I've seen similar "ladies" here in Buckinghamshire, not far from me there's a woodland Car Park where I have often seen a "lady" in fishnet stockings and a Basque walking over to "her" car after spending time in the trees with dubious Men. At one time the Police used to have a patrol car parked there but as it's not actually illegal there is little they can do.
  7. I would imagine that because of it's age and most likely Black Powder added to the fact that you are not going to use it then no licence is needed.
  8. Rifle looks like an Original 23 to me, think Diana also made the same gun. I recognise the pistol but need more pictures.
  9. There are also ,and more importantly IMHO, massive organisations that have been robbing members of the public for years so I'm with the "freeloaders" if they are getting their own back. Defending the indefensible, the BBC, in this case is the work of a moron. On the other hand, if you are calling me, personally, a scrounger, I am more than happy to allow you the opportunity to tell me to my face?
  10. What I'm saying is it is possible if you wanted to. I have a legit firestick so dont watch BBC but if I wanted to then I would without any guilty feelings - it's not people watching and not paying that makes the licence expensive, more to do with the ridiculous salary's paid to the presenters etc.
  11. Good idea but not sure on the legality of it?
  12. I got rid of my TV licence nearly a year ago now and have no regrets whatsoever - I certainly don't miss the Beeb dross. One of the final nails for me was on Master Chef when that abomination Kitty Scott Claus was constantly referred to as her or she - never watched the show again. There is simply no need to fund the BBC anymore as anyone with the right firestick knows.
  13. If he added an egg you would need to get in the queue.
  14. C'mon then, spill the recipe.
  15. Looks perfect to me, I'm guessing that's Lamb so a dash of mint sauce will cut through the gravy - but I like mine like yours.
  16. Mmmmm, so I've spent 15 minutes thinking of how you could improve your videos - got nowt I'm afraid,if I were in your shoes I might consider releasing a DVD of your highlights over the last few years (make sure Jack gets the leading role) I think you owe it to the shooting community and what a perfect gift for a shooting man.Put me down for one (signed of course).
  17. Could be a windy evening.

Christ on a bike - I would be embarrassed to be caught watching such total garbage. Shows such as this are why there's an off button.
  19. I cannot see a problem with a pigeon put through a mincer - could not be more natural as far as I can see, even some feathers are OK as they clean the gut.
  20. Hate, hate, hate Daystate's ,then I bought one that was so cheap that it was a steal (Airwolf) because I could make some money selling it on. But now, after shooting it, it is honestly nothing short of outstanding with it putting pellets through the same hole so consistently that it is unnerving so try before you buy - reptations and opinions count for little in the field.
  21. Yep,that's kiddy. I believe that you can buy a system that detects your heart rhythm on your fingertips - this relays to your mobile and can be recorded - might be worth thinking about but I would have thought your local cardio unit would be exploring every avenue. If you are getting attacks without warning I'm afraid you might have to involve DVLA which brings a whole world of pain with it, you may think you have experienced incompetence before but DVLA are next level. Keep pestering your GP as it's not fair to have to suffer - not only the attacks but the worry that comes with them. I wish you the very best of luck.
