  3. Here's a suggestion; Every time a boat load of illegal migrants land on our shores a French fishing licence is withdrawn until there is non left.
  4. Pretty much my storey too. I think one way or another we are all going to get it eventually, but if you have had the jabs your chances of survival are much greater
  5. Thanks for the replies, some good ideas there apart from the socks
  6. Thanks for your suggestion Steve, I have tried that without any success. I think it may be more of a sinus problem

    DOCTORS SURGERY

I live next door to a Consultant surgeon who has spent most of the last year and a half at home. I think he is getting paid a lot of money for doing next to nothing. He is piling the timber on too
  10. From a safety and quality point of view anyone who sleeps on or under a blanket made in China could be making a big mistake given the quality issues
  11. Most garages monitor people filling containers with the cctv to make sure they are using an approved type and turn the pump off if not correct. Then have a word. Probably missed this because they are too busy raking in the money
  12. If we have removed up to a million from the labour force why is there a housing crisis? Also unemployment of the fit and healthy should be zero
  13. Just hope they don't win, the celebrations would be unbearable
  14. Thanks Steve, I wondered if asking the GP might not go down too well, professional pride and all that.
  15. How do you find a consultant who works in the field of medicine you need?
  16. No need - they are already here
  17. An older Static caravan that has to be moved off its site due to site owners rules on age etc can be bought reasonably cheaply

    Afghanistan

That's another 5-10,000 houses less for low income UK Nationals then. Not to worry though we have plenty of green fields left so we can soon build some more
  20. The paramedics have to spend half their time dealing with drunks, drugies and people with mental health issues. Also they often have to wait outside A & E until their patient can be seen. Add to that all the people who should really be going to see their GP with non urgent problems but can't get an appointment for days

    Daily stats

Well todays figures for deaths (119) and new cases (29312) have just shot that theory down in flames
  22. Excellent video, very enjoyable. I hate shooting under the wires and you seem to be surrounded by them

    Daily stats

Tuesday is always a bad day for the number of deaths because the figures are always low Sat, Sun Mon and Tue is the catch up day. I believe I read somewhere that some parts of the UK do not report the figures at all over the weekend. In the early part of the pandemic we were told that certain communities and age groups were the worst affected and now a deafening silence as you say. I wonder if this could be obtained under the Freedom of Information laws. I am sure these stats are on record somewhere as the NHS collect all this sort of thing to the far end of a far*
