  1. good morning guys, I retrieved my old springer above from the loft. looking quite a sorry state so needs some work to return to its good looking self. nothing but a complete re furbish will do the job. does any body know where a complete set of strip down instructions may be obtained plus tools required. my first strip so simpler the better. thanks guys, Teddy Boy.
  2. I've not had many problems with e/bay suppliers but let them know you are contacting pay pal, a resolution is quite swift afterwards. I never use any other method of payment now.
  3. it is my understanding that if the police approach a G.P. and get no response. after 21days it is considered there are no issues to be concerned about and the licence is granted.
  4. i'm more than a little surprised the baby's dad has not had a very noisy word with him, or two!!!
  5. not a fan of the royals except the queen, but buck. hse. belongs to the nation does it not?
  6. just in the process of returning an item which was not as described. in all the years and transactions done via pay pal, only ever had to do this once before. you can rest assured pay will actively work to recover your money. just be a little patient.
  7. T.B.H. i'm sick and tired of it all. there is not a thing we can say or do about it except pay our taxes watch it wasted by some plank of a do gooder. watching a tv programme showing graves of young guys who died on D day and thinking ,boys you wasted your time. So, so sad.
  8. Blair, Corbyn, Abbot, we are totally ****** people.!!!!!!!!
  9. scully, top post of the day.
  10. there is no need to make a song and dance about it. just deal with the threat quietly and efficiently. NEVER will the muslim community give up fellow muslims, whether they be terrorists or, as in most cases just criminals. it matters not a jot saying wake up people. the people of this country are more than awake, its just the jelly fish in charge that have their heads up their *****.
  11. thatcher had bigger balls than any of those sponges that are supposed to be leading us mortals. may is a Cameron clone so nothing gained. Andrea Leadsom spoke well in all the brexit debates, but more importantly she spoke on topics that seemed to be of major concern to people worried about power the EU was giving itself.
  12. these people once elected just ignore the fact they are there to voice the opinions of the people who elected them. once there, all that is forgotten and it seems that they just do and say what ever suits them. all these tossers, sorry I meant members of parliament need a clause in their term of office that says, do what you was elected on, or your out.
  13. come on guys, why so harsh. at least his little adventure involved adults and people of the opposite sex. very refreshing in this day and age considering what has been coming to light recently. all I can say is, go on son get in there. a lot of guys his age struggle with their Weetabix. .
  14. passed march 1965 in a Hillman minx. lessons were only 19 shillings and sixpence in old money, around 95 pence today. had hundreds of different cars over the years but my only vehicle now is a 300tdi 90. love it.
  15. blame my young granddaughter for the unfinished post. sorry guys.
  16. the guys who done the job sure have some stones. to spend that amount of time on the premises your robbing, coupled with the noise the guys who done this robbery sure have some stones. to spend that amount of time on a premises your robbing, coupled with the noise being made. they must be the toast of the underworld.
  17. scotslad. ANY politician would do a deal with the devil to get a seat on the gravy train of expenses. don't be surprised by any of their ploys stunts.
  18. these people do like soft unarmed targets. but don't like it up 'em Mr. Mannering.
  19. the whole episode, plus pics. was totally inappropriate in my opinion to be put on an open forum. we all know what had to be done, but others may not. the shooting of the doe was at best questionable.
  20. best news I've read in ages. a big well done to someone in authority.
  21. hi kdubya, had the op around 92-93 after a road accident. in hospital for about two months with a variety of injuries. lost the feeling in outside two fingers on both hands. they re sited the nerves on the two arms at the same time. believe me its not a little nick, more like 4-5 inches each side I would say. bruising from armpit to wrist but no splints, just bandaged. off work a couple of months or so. one side was a success but other not so good but get used to the loss of sensation after a while. a long time ago for me but procedures change so recovery nowadays could be quicker. best of luck and a speedy recovery. A.T.B.
  22. agree wholeheartedly with tightchoke. even if illegals are caught nothing happens to them. just told to report on such and such date, do you really think they will. it's a win win situation once they reach our shores. the lemon who thought up that rule needs a good (must remember women may be reading this forum). surely the amount of forces people getting their P45s could be used to fill vacancies on our border posts,
  23. York guns are the dealers selling. package and posting is£10. to travel and pick up the guns is a four and half hour journey each way. throw in fuel costs, plus time, not such a good deal. can get only one of the guns locally so sorry to say one will fall by the wayside. that is unless I can find someone on here who can help. the next time you hear or read on here of some R.F.D. closing, you have to wonder why! enjoy the weekend everybody.
  24. I've been trying to get a couple of shotguns posted from York to Hampshire. R.F.Ds this end want £50 per gun. seems rather expensive. does anybody know of a dealer around this area with more reasonable prices. thanks
