I always enjoy myself our dream breaks are 3/4 days away on last minute deals we had 3 days at a Christian retreat memo no Bar every meal they wanted you to sit in different seats so you would talk to different people they picked somebody to come out and say prayers before every meal , I had the swimming pool to myself and it had big blue tiles at the bottom with Jesus Saves in it LOL been everywhere apart from Ireland but always make the most of it and had a great time

I just had a great couple of days away which my old supervisor picked for the collection at my work to be used on , I would have been easy pleased ,Give me the cash or equivalent in Vodka . Anyway i got a two night stay in a 300 year old big country house turned into a hotel choices fishing there bit of river £65 a day or walking LOL i retired due to ill health i've no cartridge in my left knee and my rights going the same way . I arrived early for the 3pm check in and my wife's going far too early they wont let us in i replied i've booked afternoon tea that's why no motorway stops for crappy coffee went in and explained they said book in or afternoon tea first your choice ?. Big surprise two afternoon teas £14'95 . Unpacked had a walk round a couple of drinks £10'80 no be getting drunk here then LOL . Went for tea one course £12 two courses £22 three courses £32 I had game terrine , then pheasant breast ,1/2 a breast and a leg complete with sinews in you want chips, roast , boiled potatoes with that £3 supplement , The wife's steak £14'50 supplement then my Cheese Board £3'00 supplement .Breakfast was nice till the toaster started smoking LOL .Went for a walk in the local town we got soaked police closed the high street due to slates falling from the roofs went back changed clothes fancied somewhere different for food nice hotel 2 miles away £100 for four courses be just as well i was £91 in supplements for eating at our hotel LOL Loved it though but even the receptionist said there's nothing in town , should of stayed in the games room one snooker table and 7 jigsaws

I got my first ferret when i was 8 years old im 60 odd now always hunted the rabbit , always thought i would kept up to 12 ferrets mates had a good few as well feels like i always had airguns got my first shotgun cert at 15 dad was supposed to accompany for a year till i was 16 just told shot some rabbits . got a rifle shoot the rabbits during the day lamp them at night now there saying you are not firing enough bullets do you need that gun ?. What have we done to the poor rabbit if it was done to anything else the R.S.P. C. A. would be on its case

Handy getting acarryout delivered , when i worked at a university some students got breafast and lunch delivered . If my mate gets a Chinese delivered its £25 for the food and then £25 delivery joys of being out in the sticks

There was 6 pence a differnce between our local Asda and Tesco's and when you asked why it was apperntly the store manager that set the prices , It went on over a week till drivers started shopping at tesco while they got the cheaper fuel LOL

I feed my two raw i buy in from Greyshill and sometimes my wife will put a bowl of dry food in the kennel when she thinks they had a hard shift ive seem them eat a couple of mouthfulls but the bowl can sit in the kennel for a fortnight before they empty it

If you stopped buying stuff from country's that are in the wrong , What would you eat then its going to be a small list

I did a golf course across the road for years and it was nothing but a pain going out at 5am there was people walking across it to there work and folk out walking there dogs. During the day the golfers think they own it and you shouldnt be there one day i was digging out my ferret under a forty foot popular and they old golfer trot over have you got permission to be here ?. Then the sneaky ones go to the green keepers and say theres somebody stealing trees LOL the green keepers come over and say i knew you where out . Try lamping at night theres kids and folk walking dogs in the dark no torch or anything . Then fire a gun during the day . Now i just wander over ferret a few rabbits and walk away stuff the rest of it not worth the hassel

i saw a film where a guy was shooting them on a golf course they where 2 foot long and all the colours of a rainbow big breeding males i think

Tim Hortons do one as well but its more expensive as its a bigger bag and you have to be quick as theres goes within minutes Most out lets are now doing these bags and my first question was why no just make less then there will be less surplus at night but it turns out the goverment give them cash back

I think anybody that shoots with permission off a farmer would know if he was able to invite somebody to shoot or not

I wasnt sure to pop this on the Cafe thread But to cut costs i make a pot of soup maybe 2/3 times a week and the wife and i will have a plate for lunch then at tea time another plate with a bag from a bakers , Stephens is the only bakers no to do this you just sign up for the app a bag costs £2.59 you order a bag , bags at 18.15 the night before and you pick them up at 16'45 the next day only thing is its pot luck what you get it can be anything we usually get 4 sausage rolls in a bag we got so many we got a drawer in the freezer full of them and we empty it when the kids come for tea. We get bagettues , bakes can be any kind sausage rolls we even had them filled with black pudding , rolls cakes and dounuts and doughrings , a bag usually does me and the Mrs 3 days I saw on tv the other night stores are doing this as well but its pot luck one person just got a bag of apples LOL
