Had a couple of beers with a mate and thinking about the next time I’m allowed out shooting again. have some hunting friends from Iceland coming over next month so thinking of what gear we need to get them some good days on the pigeons

I am off on a stag do in July to Bucharest and the stag has said he would like to do some shooting. most of the party have never fired a gun before but I am quite experienced in both pistols and rifles of many types. does anyone have any experience or knowledge of decent places in Bucharest to go. The other on on Netflix is called “the hunt” I believe but it is a guy that never stops talking, mostly about himself and how amazing he is and loads of product placement but if you have a spare couple of hours you could watch it. Just search on Netflix for hunting and a few programs pop up

Myself, my shooting friend and a guest from Finland have been out today and driving round it was barren. i do think there was too much ground open to them. We tried on some rape stubble and some cane close enough to shoot but nothing decoyed. About 4 o’clock we moved and all of us got some shooting but only about 40 between 3 hides. Very slow and they just moved from one field to the next.

I took mine down last week and a guy took it away and rebuilt it. Was very easy.

Where are you located?

This is what me and a friend have done for two seasons. We couldn't afford a peg each but a half gun was fine. We flip a coin first thing in the morning to decide who gets the first drive and then alternate from there. We usually load for one another but this season the drive we aren't shooting we usually stand with a young lad just starting out which is nice to encourage the youth. Couple of things, you need to make sure it is a friend because jealousy is a terrible thing, sometimes you will get all the rubbish pegs and sometimes they will. We shoot 8 days approx 50 birds a day so it does even itself out over the season.

Well great day. One drive the birds were a bit low so didn't really get bothered but selective shooting and some amazing fliers we ended with 62 pheasant in the bag. Great day so roll on two weeks

I have my first day today. Just sat waiting and waiting as I am raft a bit early. Don't know who is more excited me or the dog. If I don't get a shot I'm not that bothered just great to get out there again especially after the last couple of weeks at work. Good luck everyone
